Privacy Policy — Double Vision

Double Vision is designed to be a fully private app. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.

Summary

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. There is no account, no email address, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no advertising in Double Vision.

No Account, No Personal Information

Double Vision does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information — including your name, email address, or phone number — to use the app. Because we never collect an email address, we never send marketing communications of any kind.

How the App Works

Double Vision connects two iPhones directly to each other so one can remotely control the camera of the other:

Bluetooth is used to establish a control connection directly between your two devices.
Wi-Fi (via WebRTC) is used to stream the live camera preview directly between your two devices.

This connection is peer-to-peer, device-to-device. No video, images, or control data passes through, or is stored on, any server operated by us. We simply have no access to it.

Photos and Video

Any photos or videos captured using Double Vision are saved directly to your device's photo library, just like the built-in Camera app. We do not have access to your photo library, and nothing you capture is uploaded anywhere by us.

In-App Purchases

Double Vision offers an optional one-time "Unlock Pro" purchase. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive, collect, or store your payment details — Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

Your Responsibility for Connection Security

Double Vision does not access the internet or any third-party service, but the privacy of your session still depends on the two connections it uses:

Bluetooth: Only pair Double Vision with a device you trust, since Bluetooth pairing grants that device a control connection.
Wi-Fi: Use a secure, trusted Wi-Fi network when streaming the camera preview, since the video stream travels over your local network.

Children's Privacy

Since Double Vision collects no data of any kind from anyone, this includes children. The app is not designed to collect information from users of any age.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
